La Ruche House is located at 109 Orange Street near the corner of Orange and Union.
It is a quick 10 minute walk to town’s main street where dinning and shopping abound.
From the Hy-line or Steam ship Authority follow the car traffic off the ferry to Main Street.
If you are walking and have luggage we suggest taking a cab to the house “cobblestones are
tough with luggage”. Follow “one way” Main Street to the top and take a left on
“one way” Orange Street just before the Pacific National Bank building which will be
straight ahead. La Ruche House is at 109 on the right hand side and there is a quarter board above
the front door which says “La Ruche”.
From the Airport you will need to take a cab. Just say La Ruche and they will know where to go.
If you are renting a car take a right out of the airport to Milestone road about ¼ miles.
Take a left onto Milestone and continue until you hit the Rotary about 4 miles. Take the Rotary around
exiting towards Town which is Lower Orange Street. Lower Orange will turn into Union Street in about
1 mile and bear right. You can see La Ruche from the corner on your left but “do not” go
straight onto Orange Street as it becomes one way. Instead follow Union to your right and as it bears
sharp left take you’re first left on to Back Street. Follow Back Street to Orange, take a left
and you are there.
